Red Heeler Aquaponic Sales ... cont ...

We now had a lot of the core equipment in place. We then waited for the delivery of the final pieces.

Once they arrived we could finish off the job. As we had done before we completed the fish shed first. We plumbed in the last two fish tanks, the header tanks and the pumps. We also completed coupling up the water in, the water out and the air in.

We were now able to fill the fish tanks up completely. Margaret checked the water levels.

While Russel entertained us with a fantastic example of "upstand" digg playing.

We then went outside to the Grow Tunnels and finished off the installation there. We coupled up the remaining tanks. Connected the water inlet pipes, the air inlets and pumps, and commenced to fill them all with water.

Why did Red Heeler choose to put in an Aquaponic System?

Initially the motivation was the drought. Water allocations in the area were less than 20% making ground cropping almost impossible.
